One of the greatest to ever live, who else could take melody on the bass and still be the dominant sound in the group?

I've been a die hard fan of the doors since 1067. Although Jim was a great front man poet singer and artist he would not have been the doors without John Ray and Robbie. They played off each other and fed each others creativity.

Yo creo que Jim esta hablando sobre que el Rock va a cambiar su mensaje, y va a pasar de ser "love, my baby, doodapadooda, let's dance, etc.", a ser el medio por cual se va a pasar la voz de la revolucion, la critica al sistema y los movimientos sociales, y va a dejar de ser mas que nada, musica para divertirse, bailar y pasar el rato. El quiere decir, que el Rock esta muerto, porque va a tener un gran cambio en su mensaje y en su impacto en la sociedad. Y tenia razon, si nos vamos al año 1969, fecha en que se grabo esta brillante cancion.
